HISTORIC GULFPORT FLORIDA A LITTLE BIT OF PARADISE

FAB Fiber is the little shop "that could".  We opened November of 2013 in the "Art Village" of Historic Gulfport Florida.  Later we purchased a Gulfport bungalow and turned it into our shop.

Gulfport is a step back in time - a place where people love their dogs and their bicycles, a place where the children run free and neighbors stop to chat.  Twice a month Gulfport hosts an evening Art Walk and every Tuesday it is home to a vibrant street market.

Wouldn't you like to escape the rigors of winter and spend some time in this charming out of the way Florida town?  This blog is designed to show you the charms of Gulfport as well as it's proximity to big city life and you don't even need to rent a car to enjoy all there is to offer.

First, Tampa Airport is one of the most convenient in the world and is a mere twenty minute ride from Gulfport and downtown St. Petersburg.  There are world class hotels in the area and Gulfport is connected by public transportation with bustling downtown St. Pete.  Let's start with Gulfport itself

The Seabreeze manor is just a few blocks away from FAB Fiber.  In between are several nice places to eat.
